Photoshop CS6

From another video tutorial (which I could not possibly follow) I got this effect idea. I Googled "faces" and in the image gallery found this image. It was submitted in 2011, but the author was unknown, and this lovely model was unnamed.
The tutorial was made in an earlier version of Photoshop, therefore, I had to modify it considerably. Lucky me, it cut my work in half, but it also more made up for the less work because I needed more time trying to figure out how to do it. Enjoy!

Hi pamelamc, was thinking of you today; the recent news appears to indicate that it’s a bit fraught across at your neck of the woods, unless I’ve got my countries mixed up.

Hope your OK.

Found this pic of yours that I enjoy immensely. It reminds me of my student days, when I made friends with some weavers, in Plymouth, England. It was an introduction to ‘twill’ weaving, and then much else about weaving later; lots that can fascinate an engineer, and indeed the history of weaving impacts on the development of computers. When I returned to Trinidad, while designing some web pages for a holiday enterprise in Tobago, I revisited this ‘twill’ theme in a playful computational way. It was to write an ordinary HTML web-page table, where the ‘borders’ of the tables ‘columns’ and ‘rows’ interwove into ‘twill’; then I could plonk pictures into the woven table; much as you have pictorially done here. I remember it was a wonderful brain tangler to do.

Your wonderful pic reminds and inspires me to revisit this artifact, and to try to do something with it again.

Cheers and keep well. :) (Smile)
